Ben Turns 25!

Ben is 25! It seems crazy since I meet him when he was 19! We have been together for so long and the time has flown by and I have been loving every moment of it! This year for his birthday he bought an exhaust for his bullet bike and we went to Tona (sushi) for dinner with some friends and it was so much fun! I love it there!

Since we have lived in our house all of the walls have been white and boring! I always change my mind on what color I want everything too. Finally I have made a final decision with our room! We painted an accent wall a bright green and I LOVE it!!! I think it turned out perfect!

Long Time No Blog

It's been a while since I have blogged and I will do better! Ben and I had our 3 year anniversary and I can't believe how long it has been but I have loved it! We are still loving our house and Are loving the dogs! We had a new one enter the family, Ben's sister had a little boy Trevin and he is so cute! Sasha LOVES him! She will be so fun when we decide to have kids! I will be having 4 more nieces and nephews soon too! 1 for Mike and Sara and 3 for Dan and Kelsey!! Its so exciting! I love fall time and being able to dress up for Halloween and paint pumpkins. Of course I had to have my little partner in crime come and help me paint some.

This Summer Ben and I have done some more hiking and it has been really nice to be outside and take the dogs and let them get rid of some energy! We have gone with my dad to a couple times and my mom.

A new project!

Ben and I have a little deck in our back on the house and we always have a ton of sun come through the kitchen door and it will heat up the whole house. So we decided so build a pergula(or something like that) and our neighbor helped us and it looks awesome! we also decided to put up a blind to block out more sun and I love it! Ben and I are hanging out on our deck a lot more now and it gives us so much shade!

Ben and I went to one of Hallie's softball games and she did so good! I am so impressed by her! Its so cute to watch the little girls play too. The park that the game was at had a way big hill and someone had left Ice Blocks there so we were trying to ride them down the hill. It was so fun! I got a picture of ben right before he fell off!

First Camping Trip

Ben and I went with his family for the first camping trip of the year and it was so fun and relaxing! The weather turned out so nice and it was so pretty up at Cub River! Everything was so green from all the rain! The river was very full and was going pretty fast, so of course my dogs had to jump in it. Sasha hurry and got out once she realized it was not a good idea but Torq of course didn't get out, he ended up going under a bridge and I was not able to see him for a big and I honestly thought that I had lost him, I was ready to jump in the river and find him, then he ended up getting out, thank goodness! Of course since they are our kids I broke down once I knew he was ok.

A New Hobby

I have developed a new hobby Making my own earrings!!!! I have loved doing it! A girl I work with is going to have a booth at a craft convention thing and told me that if I make enough earrings that she would sell them for me! Ben and I went to California over the weekend. I told him the one thing that I wanted to do was to go and eat Sushi there! We were to an all you can eat sushi restaurant and it was so good!! We both tried new things including eel and oysters! It was a blast! The sushi came around on boats and we just took whatever we wanted off of them!

I can't believe that Hallie is now 8!! She has grown up so fast and she is so sweet! This year she wanted all the girls to go to the gateway to go shopping. Kelsey had to work so Laura, my mom, Hallie, and myself went and rode the front runner down. It was a lot of fun!

Long Time No Post!

It has been so long since I have gotten on my blog! Ben and I are both still in School and are still working. Ben is working with JD Machine and I got a new job with IHC doing appeals to insurances and I am loving it. Over the summer we went and did come camping like we normally do but we did some shooting while we were there. I have never shot a gun until this time! It was a lot of fun! Ben also had shoulder surgery in December but has recovered very well and is back on his dirtbikes of course! For Halloween I was a pirate and Ben was a giant whoopee cushion!! It was so fun! We were also able to spend more time with our little Anners! Here are a couple pics of what we had been up to.

We did some camping, went to bear lake, had our 2 year anniversary, I turned 22, and Ben and Wendy came down for a weekend. The pups are doing great we just love them to death! Poor poor puppy. We took them both for a walk Thursday night and while Torq was running he decided to lick up a mini ant hill... when we woke up Friday his gum on one side was huge!! Luckily we already had an appointment with the vet that morning for their shots and a check up so he gave us some meds to make it go down.

So my friend Brandy thinks she is really funny. We work together and are pretty good friends. She and security have pulled some pranks on me but this was the biggest one! We were walking out of work yesterday and we were parked right next to each other and this is what I see.....she was crying from laughing so hard! I had to hand it to her it was a pretty good prank, b ut I made her help me clean it up!

I can't believe that Hallie is already 7!! When I was growing up my Grandma Warner would take me to lunch and then shopping. I decided to start that as a new tradition with Hallie this year. I decided she was old enough. We went to the mall and we got some lunch and then I gave her $20 to buy whatever she wanted. It was an adventure though, that kid wants everything!

Jake joins the National Guard

Jake leaves for the National Guard on Sunday :( Everyone is very proud of him but sad to see him go. We basically just had a whole weekend with him. We went laser tagging on Friday and then went bowling on Saturday and are saying good bye to him on Sunday. He is going for his training and hopefully will be back before we know it! Good Luck Jake!

Ben and I were by walmart about a week ago and we noticed that a guy was selling Lab puppies so we had to look at them! We got a boy and a girl! Our boy is the chocolate lab and his name is Torq and the black is our girl and her name is Sasha! They are so sweet and have been a blast to have around! I don't think we have ever been happier with where we are at night now in our lives! Thank you to all who have helped us and supported us!

Ben and I bought our first house!!! We absolutely love it!! We found it pretty fast also but it is perfect for us and we have plenty of room to grow in it so we can be here a long time. We are still in Ogden but we love our neighborhood already! Here are some pics of the inside. I will get one of the outside and get it posted!

A new job

My job moved up to Logan in the middle of January. IHC wants to centralize all of biling. So I am now in customer service which is part of the billing. I help people get set up on payment plans and help them with Financial Assistance. I also work with some of my best friends which makes it way nice! One of my friends and I had to act like we were baby snatchers one day and got all dressed up in scrubs and wondered labor and delivery and NICU. It was pretty fun!

Ben and I went with Dan and Kelsey to Jackson Whole for New Years. It was a lot of fun! We walked all around the town and saw some really neat things and the hotel we stayed at had a new years eve party so we didn't have to go anywhere! It was nice to be able to get away!

Happy Birthday to the best hubby ever! We had a lot of fun this year for Ben's birthday, it lasted all week pretty much. Monday night we had over family for dessert and to visit with Ben for a while and it was fun having everyone over. Tuesday was his birthday and I took him out to dinner and he played his new game he got MX vs. ATV. Saturday night we were able to get all of our friends together and celebrate it. It was awesome having everyone celebrate with us! Thank you everyone who was part of it making it an awesome time for him!

We had a lot of fun this year for thanksgiving! We were at my parents during the day and hung out and Ben and Dan and my Dad were riding around on pit bikes for a while,I love being able to spend time with my family! That night we went up to Ben's family and hung out. We watched the movie "Four Christmas'" It was a pretty cute show and we had a lot of fun up there also!

This weekend we went on the last camping trip for the season. :( Ben and I decided to take Hallie up camping with us and it was an adventure having her there. Our first ride that we went on we went from Logan to Randolph to go eat at Gator's! YUM!! The ride was about 88 miles so Hallie did really good with that but she say's she doesn't want to do that ride again. Sunday we went up to Logan's Peak and it was so pretty! We had a blast and it sucks this was the last one of the year! Thank's Gus for all the great camping trips!

I have needed a change for a really long time with my hair! It was either color it brown or cut it off.....I decided to go brown...I still love my long hair. Ben says he likes it more than when it was blonde and I think I agree! I am no more a blonde!

A trip to the ER

We were swimming on Monday at my parents neighbors and just hanging out and Ben's arm got dislocated. We had to get him to the ER which we had to wait like an hour before we actually got in the back. Eventually they got Ben some morphine so he was not in so much pain and then put him out so they could put it back in. It was pretty interesting but I had never seen him in so much pain before so I did panic a little :) He is doing lots better not though! He just needs to be careful with his arm for another week!

I can't believe that it has already been 1 year!! I feel like the luckiest person to have married someone who is so amazing! We have already done so much in this first year and so much has happened and changed, it's been so much fun! This weekend we were playing on the pit bike and just hanging out around the house. The kids that play in the neighborhood were cheering Ben on to do all kinds of tricks on it, it was pretty entertaining! We have so much fun on that bike!

Bear Lake!

Over the weekend we went up to bear lake and it was a blast!! I was not ready to come home at all! Everyone played on the beach and enjoyed being with family! Hallie loved driving the jet ski and I don't think I have ever been scared on one until I let her drive, she was crazy! A bunch of us rode into town to get a milkshake and then went back to the cottage to hang out. Saturday Alicia and Lexi came up and hung out at the beach with us and it was so fun! Hallie loved Lexi being there! They eventually both got on the tube together and both went on the jet ski! It was so much fun being up there and I can't wait until next year!

This year I turned the Big 2! It was such a fun birthday! Last week when we were up camping Val put some candles on a rice crispie cake and I got to blow them out and then he gave me card! Wednesday I went to work and the people I work with all decorated my desk like crazy! My parents came and ate lunch with me and my Aunt Ev stopped by and gave me such a pretty thing of flowers and of course they were PINK! Ben took me out to dinner at the Olive Garden and we had a nice night together. Sunday my family celebrated my birthday and we just did a bbq and played games, it was a blast! Thank you everyone including my amazing friends for making my birthday awesome!!

We went camping over the 4th of July and it was a lot of fun! We went with Ben's family but my parents came up the first night. The first night we were there it rained and then hailed so bad! A lot of us huddled in my parents tent and my mom, Alicia, and myself were all playing UNO until we could run to our own tents! I also left a screen open in our tent so I got one of our pillow's went and our sleeping bag...whoops! It was a lot of fun being able to hang out and relax! Thank you Val for always planning the trips!

When it was time to do her hair we realized that we didn't have any foils to put her hair in so we did what we could and used paper! it was so funny but it actually worked pretty good and her hair turned out good! Camping Trip!

Over the weekend we went up camping to Cub River, we weren't able to do a lot of riding because of the weather, it was raining a lot! It was still nice to get away though. Ben and I went on a night ride and saw 3 deer! We were looking for a moose but it didn't happen, but the ride was still fun!

San Rafael

We went camping about a week and a half ago to San Rafael, which is down by Price with Ben's family. It was pretty fun, the riding down there was a lot of fun! There were some really fun trails! We were abnle to get a picture of a dinosaur footprint in a rock, some drawings on the rocks, and a mine that we had gone in. One of the days rained pretty hard so we drove the trucks to some places that we wanted to see and the truck got covered in mud!

Over Easter weekend we went to the the dunes! It was a ton of fun, we did have some friends that did not have much luck there! They got their trailer stuck in the dunes, and it got broken into and everything stolen! It became a mission for a little bit to figure out who took everything but we never found out who did it! This was the first time I had ridin my 4-wheeler out on the dunes and it was kinda scary for my first time but it was still a lot of fun! I don't have any pictures though because I didn't want sand to get into my camera, sorry!

Friday night we went to a concert and the band that played was Framing Hanley, They are awesome! The band that opened for them was The Veer Unit. The whole concert was so much fun! We got a picture with the lead singer of the Veer Unit and one of the guitar players, it was so awesome! The pictures of kind of hard to see but in one the Drumer balanced a guitar on his chin while the lead singer played the drums! It was the best concert we have been to yet!

It's official! Ben start school next Tuesday! He got his schedule today! I am so excited for him and so proud of him!! He will be going to the OWATC for machining and is wanting to get his Journeyman! Good Job!

So I was at my parents on Saturday along with Jake, Hallie, and Grady. We were all hanging out inside and my dad decides he needs to get the snow off the grass so he gets out the snowblower and snowblowes the yard! It was so funny. There were people walking by laughing! I had to share the picture with everyone!

Hallie slept over last night! It's always fun to have her over. My friend's Rachel and Kari came over and brought their kids and so all of the kids did fingerpaints and ran around the house for a couple of hours! After the other kids left Hallie and I watched High School Musical 3 and the 3-D Hannah Montana and Miley Cirus Concert..it was pretty exciting!!

Moving!

A couple weeks ago we moved!! We still live in the same apartment area but it is a bigger apartment! We Love IT!!! We also have washer and dryer hookups now! It's been so nice! It has 3 levels and in the basement there is a big room and we turned it into Ben's room. We got a pool table to put in there, and he has up all of his dirtbike things! He is pretty excited to have a room all his own!

Sunday ben and I went riding, Ben does so good on his dirtbike! He found a really good jump and got some big air!! He is a lot of fun to watch cause he rides on every hill and tries to turn everything into a jump. He also taught me how to go off a jump on my 4-wheeler. It was not a big jump at all but I was way proud of myself that I could get all 4 tires off the ground!

On sunday we celebrated Alicia's birthday! It was a lot of fun and at the end of the night Josh decided to pick up grandma and carry her all around the room! It was pretty funny!

Blood Work

Well yesterday we had an interesting morning. Ben and I had to have some people come to our home and take some blood, etc.. for life insurance. So we ended up with the lady who had done it for a while, and her trainee. I got the Pro at taking blood work and Ben got the trainee. I got everything done and it went really smooth and before I knew it I was done. Well that was not the case for Ben. We both agree to the fact that the Trainee got a running start at putting the needle in Ben's arm for the blood, she pretty much stabbed him with it. While she was taking his blood (with him already in pain) she turned away or something and she basically pulled out the needle and blood started running down Ben's arm, but don't worry she hurry and put the needle back in his arm. After a minute Ben said " I'm starting to feel a little light headed. I went to the fridge to get him some water and when I turned around I hear "Oh Oh Oh Get him!" Yes my poor hubby passed out!! The gall that took his blood already had her gloves off and was trying to hold Ben up along with the girl that took my blood and Ben still had more blood coming out of his arm. I had to end up holding some paper towels up to his arm so that they wouldn't get any of his blood on them. Finally when he woke up like 20 seconds later we got him moved to the couch. Once he was there they said "ok well you have our number so if you need anything you can reach us. Have a good rest of the day!" I was almost impressed by them and I don't think Ben will be getting blood work done anytime soon! It was a very interesting morning!

Hardware Ranch

Ben and I decided to take a drive up to Hardware Ranch on saturday. It was a lot of fun! You get on a sleigh that is pulled by a couple horses and the workers there take you right up next to all of the elk! It was so neat how the elk didn't move or even care that you were right there! I was so excited for Christmas this year since it was Ben and I's first one together being married!! I woke up on christmas morning at like 7 and made him get up cause I was so excited!!!! We both got quite a bit from each other!!! I got my hot pink blow dryer that is awesome!!! Ben also got a shop Vac from my parents that he was way excited about and I got my black backpack for school with pink stars on it with a gift card!! We had a great Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve was so much fun! We were with Ben's family all night. We both got so much! I got tons of decorations for the house that Vicki and Grandma had made for me along with a shelf and star ice cube trays!!! Ben got some tundra mats and a air compressor and a harley davidson lamp!! Jake also decided to do his hair in a mowhawk and i loved it i had to post a picture of it!!

We celebrated Val's birthday on Chistmas Eve! He got a head cam and it was actually really cool. Ben kept saying I wish I had one of those! He also got a Family guy daily calender which Alicia and I found that we thought was pretty awesome!

I love school!! It has been a blast! I am still in basics so I only cut my manakins hair as of right now but I love it! Here are some pic's of one of my manakins...they are weird looking though! It's always an adventure when I go to school, there are so many people that are so different. The thing that I think is way cool though is that I am the only straight person in my class!!!!
